Combining the Tactix Touchpad software with the Ergonomic Touchpad allows the user to control the mouse pointer by placing their finger on the touchpad and then moving their finger in the direction they require. The mouse will continue to move in the chosen direction until the direction is changed or is taken off the touchpad.

How Does the Tactix Touchpad Software Work?

Map To Screen Mode

The touchpad maps directly to the screen position, for example top left of touchpad takes the mouse pointer to the top left of the screen.

Tapping the top right hand corner of the touchpad will do a right click.

Tapping the top left hand corner of the touchpad with let users do a drag and drop, i.e. move mouse pointer position to start dragging; tap top left corner of touchpad; then move the mouse position to drag. Lifting the finger from the touchpad will drop the item.

Map to Screen Mode

Joystick Mode

In this mode users touch the touchpad (roughly in the centre is best) and then move the finger in the required direction. The mouse will move in that direction until the user changes direction or takes their finger off the touchpad.

Tapping the top right hand corner of the touchpad will do a right click.

Tapping the top left hand corner of the touchpad with let users do a drag and drop, i.e. move mouse pointer position to start dragging; tap top left corner of touchpad; then move the mouse position to drag.  Tap the touchpad to release.
